How To Address A Letter To Vice President Biden

[music] [supporter] joe biden's in town. our vicepresident. i'm really excited. [vice president biden] how you doing? goodto see you. [supporter] welcome back to waterloo! [vice president biden] it's good to be backman!

How To Address A Letter To Vice President Biden, [supporters] fired up! ready to go! [supporters] biden! biden! biden! [speaker] ladies and gentlemen, please helpme in welcoming the vice president of the united states, joe biden.

[applause] [vice president biden] hey folks, how areyou? it's good to be back in black hawk county. [music and applause] [vice president biden] when barack and i got elected,we were determined to restore america's middle class. we did all we could do to endthe practice of outsourcing. and reward american manufacturers who stayed in america or broughttheir factories back to america. [vice president biden] ladies and gentlemen - just last week,a major article in the washington post did an extensive examination of baincapital. and here's what they said.

during the 15 years that mitt romney was activelyinvolved in running bain, it owned companies that were pioneers in the practice of shippingwork to overseas call centers and factories. bain and their companies, they made a greatdeal of money, but in the process, they devastated whole american communities. so you got togive mitt romney credit. he's a job creator - in singapore and china, india. he's beenvery good at creating jobs - overseas. [vice president biden] as governor, his administrationsigned $160,000 a month contract to pay people abroad to answer the phone. so folks, here'sthe cruel irony. an unemployed worker in massachusetts, picks up his or her telephone, calls the stateof massachusetts to ask about their unemployment benefits, and she ends up talking to someonein another country that her job was outsourced to.

[audience sighs] [vice president biden] and romney said thepresident is out of touch when the president encouraged young people to try to get manufacturingjobs. he said out of touch. [laughs] [vice president biden] out of touch? a prospectof a president with a swiss bank account and retirement investments in the cayman islands?y'all can decide did you ever think you'd be choosing between two people running forpresident, one of whom had a swiss bank account? no. out of touch? [supporter] we represent the middle class.we represent the common, working blue-collar

citizen of the united states. i do feel thepresident and vice president stand for those values because of how they started out, wherethey came from. [supporter] it's the most important electionthat has ever been actually, to me. [vice president biden] we have a long wayto go, but we cannot step back, we must move forward. god bless you all, and may god protectour troops. thank you all very much. thank you.
