How To Access Icloud On Chromebook

hello everybody, this is alex here from theoffice of library technology and today i will be showing you how to print from a chromebook.now, the thing is, as of right now you can’t actually print from the chromebook.the reasonis that our current printing vendor does not have chromebook integration but today i amgoing to show you ways that you can get around that.the first way to print that i am going to

How To Access Icloud On Chromebook, show you is how to “print” to your googledrive. this is for people logged on to either their school gmail or their personal gmail account.the first thing you want to do for this is to make sure you have the document you wishto print opened. then you are going to click ctrl +p on the keyboard and that willopen up the print dialog. on the upper left

side of the print dialog you will see somethingthat says destination, click the button right below that that says “change…”. a newdialog box will appear, move your cursor to the bottom of the dialog where you shouldsee under “google cloud print” something that says “save to google drive”. go aheadand click on that. ok now just go to the top left of the print dialog and hit the “savebutton”. and that’s all there is to it, the file should now be saved to your googledrive. if you just wanted to save your file you are done. if you wish wish to print to paper however, use one of the other computers and print your file savedto the drive from there. the second thing that i am going to show youis how to move a saved file to a usb. this

can be done on either the email tied or guestaccounts. the way you do this is quite simple. when you have a file you created or downloadedthat you want to move to the usb and the usb plugged into the computer you just go aheadand click on the apps button in the very bottom left of the screen. in the dialog that appearsgo ahead and go to the top right of that and click on the button that says “files”.once you are there you should see two folders, one labeled downloads, the other storage.click on the downloads folder where you should see your file you wish to transfer. clickand drag that file to the storage folder. that’s all there is to it, the file shouldnow be transferred. if you need to physically print the file. go to one of the library computersand print it from there.

the last thing i am going to show you is howto “print” the document as a pdf and email it to yourself. this would be the last thingi would try and i would only recommend this for people logged onto the guest account,if you are logged onto an email tied account saving it to drive would be an easier option.ok for this, you want to open up the document you wish to print. then click ctrl + p. this will bring up the print dialog. make sure “save as pdf” is selected in thedestination section of the print dialog. you are then going to hit the save button in thetop left of print dialog. in the dialog that appears and choose a filename in the textbox at the bottom of the dialog and then go ahead and click save in the bottom right ofthe screen. ok with that it is saved, you

can log on to your personal email accountand attach the file to an email and email it to yourself.ok, and there are the 3 different ways that you can “print” from a chromebook. i hopethat this video was informative and i will see you in the next video.
