hi, this is laura turner. and today i'm goingto talk with you about how to write an inquiry letter. there are many different reasons,why you would write an inquiry letter. you can be writing an inquiry letter to a magazineor publication to submit your manuscript. or of course, you may be writing an inquiryletter to a job. in order to request you know, looking. someone to look at your application.and to get an interview. so today, my example


How To Address A Personal Letter, is going to be one of those inquiry lettersfor a job. first of all, make sure you're sending your inquiry letter to the right person.and of course, address to them as a formal letter. and also date it as a formal letter.next, detail why you're inquiring about this job. who you are? give a little bit aboutwho you are. give a little bit about what


you want to do with your. or what you wantto do with this job. and why you need this job. next, give the qualifications you havefor this job. what have you been doing for the last few years. that qualifies you forthis job. and finally, you're going to want to sign cordially. and then your name or sincerely.or with best regards. and include, if you like, a self addressed stamped card, if youwish. you know, the employer can return to you, if you're sending this out of state.so that you can know that they received your application in your inquiry letter. or ifyou're sending a manuscript. this self addressed stamped envelope can be used to insert yourmanuscript into. and be sent back to you. if they decided not to use it. so that's,those are some ways to organize your inquiry


letter.
