hello, youtube. this is praveen back with another review videoof jiofi 2 4g wireless portable hotspot. jiofi 2 is a wireless router where users canshare the internet with wifi-enabled devices. this device is priced at 2899 that come witha free jio sim, bundled with unlimited 4g internet access, hd voice calling and unlimitedaccess to jio apps for 90 days.
How To Activate Iphone On Boost, with that said i have been using the jiofi2 hotspot for a while now, and these are my first impressions. jiofi 2 is very tiny. you can carry this anywhere without any issue.
it is slightly heavy and thick when we compareit with other portable hotspot devices like from airtel. the top surface has a plastic casing witha glossy finish, jio branding and a power button under it. after turning on the device, you will find4 led icons on the top that indicates network connectivity, data transfer, wifi connectivityand wps status. below the jio branding you will find a blinkingled power indicator and a battery indicator. to one side we have a microusb port for chargingthe device and on the other side, we have wps switch to connect with other devices withouthaving to enter the password.
opening the backpack, you will find a slotto insert the sd card, sim card tray and the details about the device like model number,imei, ssid name, and password. i will be doing a video very soon on how toconfigure jiofi 2 device correctly. so, stay subscribed. personally what i liked most is the abilityto connect 31 devices at a time. the battery backup is pretty much good asit comes with 2300 mah battery and few people reported that the device is getting overheatedwithin the few minutes. honestly, that’s not true. i feel comfortable holding it after 2 hoursof usage.
note that! let me do a speed test. i was able to get around 30 mbps on average,but the speeds are varying a lot from location to location. i’m getting very good speeds at my homeand in the office i'm getting around 10 mbps which is located in the center of the town. there is also a wi-fi disk feature, whereyou can download content on the microsd card and share it with other users on the samenetwork. lastly, you also get jio hd voice callingfeature where you need to download the jiojoin
app on your android smartphone and make freevoice calls for 90 days. yes. i said only android, not ios. you should probably buy an android smartphoneto make voice calls or simply rent one. okay, with a price tag of 2,899 and goodiessuch as unlimited high-speed internet, hd voice calls and access to jio suite of appsfor 90 days, you can’t possibly go wrong with the jiofi 2. i will be doing a dedicated video on jiofi2 device configuration and the things you should know after getting jio sim card.
