How To Adopt A Syrian Baby

this little cutie is orphaned baby wallabyscotty. he is being hand-reared on kangaroo islandin southern australia after his mum was killed on the road. we just can't get over how adorable this littleguy is, enjoying his milk being fed to him through a syringe.

How To Adopt A Syrian Baby, we caught up with wallaby daddy craig whotold us how little scotty is getting on. normally he'd still be in his mum's pouchwhich is why he does well in this little pouch that i've got him in there and you'll seehe's trying to curl up and tuck his nose in. he think that when i bring him out it's timeto eat because that's really the only time

he's out and about at this stage, it's tooearly to be out of the pouch but when the mum's feeding, when she's eating, he'll puthis nose out and would then be having his nose in the dirt and in the grass and whatevermum's feeding on so he's used to having a bit of an explore so we try to- see him curlingup in there now? survival, from raising these guys from littleones about two out of three will survive. hygiene is really important and nutrition is reallyimportant and they get stressed, there's all sorts of things that they can succumb to butbecause where we live there's no foxes, there's no rabbits and we've got pretty reasonablehabitat for them, so based on previous experience, where friends have raised them, there's apretty strong chance of success. and they're

just fantastic little animals. these guysare endangered on a national basis but locally they're pretty abundant. it's a bit of a privilegefor us to be able to get a chance to give these little guys a bit of a second go because, imagine the poor little bloke being left out there by his mum, there's no chance of survivalthere, so we're trying our best to give him a second shot. the tiny macropod needs to be fed every fourhours so he can continue to grow from strength to strength without his mum.
