((host emily frances))hello everyone, this is emily frances. welcome to how to mom tv. we all know denise richard’sdevotion to her two daughters with ex husband charlie sheen, not to mention the countlessanimals she’s rescued and adopted over the years.â â â â â  last year, the single mother to 9 year oldsammy and 8 year old lola adopted a baby girl

How To Adopt A Child With Down Syndrome, named eloise joni. joni was denise’s mothersname. joni passed away several years ago. â â â â â â i hung out with denise in newyork city, and she opened up to me about why adopting was the best decision she’s evermade and how eloise has enriched her whole family.

((denise richards- actress))i just was not done having kids, and couldn’t explain it. do you feel spiritually speakingthat a soul was gonna come to you and be part of the family? â i do definitely. i feel thatwe choose our parents. i feel that sam and lola chose me and charlie and feel eloisefound me, found us. spiritually that’s how i feel. there’s just different ways goingabout it. you don’t have to physically give birth to be a parent. i know what that’slike . ive given birth and i’ve adopted and i can honestly say there’s no differencein that connection. she’s such a blessing. it feels like i had her naturally and thegirls feel like i did and they’re very connected to her. they are the best big sisters forher. she’s just amazing.

((host emily frances))denise wanted to adopt from the us and admits the adoption process was not without it’sups and downs. â it’s especially challenging for singleparents but after 1 1/2 years, eloise came into their lives. she’s now 2 years oldâ â â  for more of my interview with denise richards, please go to our website â and dont forget to follow how to mom tv on our social mediachannels. thanks for watching and have a great day.
