weapons morning, the mother a few feet away on the porch here on wednesday morning. she heard screams for help and chief came to the rescue. he grabbed his bag leg to pull him away. reporter: wagner grabbed the girl and ran to call the


police. the rest of the dogs took care of the black bear. the other three chased him into the woods. he climbed a tree and then took off. reporter: officials won't kill a bear unless it's a


severe threat. i'm not mad at the bear at all. it's not his fault. reporter: happy your daughter is okay. i was mad at him yesterday. reporter: she will just keep an extra close eye on her


daughter and dogs from now on.
