still ordered to reschedule. you need to come show up for jury duty or get a lawful excuse. if not, you are going to find yourself before some judge. the typical punishment for not showing up for jury duty is up to a $100 fine or less
depending on the individual's income. judge perry says the citizens who get stiffer sentences are the ones who have no lawful excuse and simply don't seem to care. they get the belvin perry surprise package.
surprise package can lead to a formal contempt proceeding which can mean 179 days in jail
