How To Address A Letter To Human Resources, you've got a good enough relationship thatthat's the case. think about it, think what you want to do, but make certain that you'reready to make that step and then go talk to your boss, have a conversation, sit down, let them know, let them know you're excited. you've got something new going on, tell themwhat it is, where you're going to be going,

let them know that you're going to give themappropriate notice. you want to give them a formal letter of resignation, many timesthey're going to ask you for that, in those letters you're going to want to make sureyou cover a couple things. throughout the process you want to be respectful, you wantto keep a letter short, there's no need to go into any excessive detail. you want togive appropriate notice, usually that'll be two weeks, sometimes it's thirty days, butyou might have a contract with somebody and that might give you six months or a year notice.if you do have a contract, make sure you read it through and make sure you adhere to thecontract. don't want to burn bridges, talk to your boss, let them know what's going on,where you're going to go, get them excited

about the future where you're going to go.tell them you'll help train the next person during your notice period. say thanks forthe opportunity, again, you're probably going to be working with these people again sometimeand you don't want to burn any bridges. again my name is wade childress, i'm with the hospiceof the florida suncoast and i've told you how to resign from a job.
