hey guys and welcome to tiolitv. today is just a quick video so recently i was asked by a friend to take all of their photos down from the icloud and put them onto a nas that i use. now, one of the things i noticed when downloading photos from icloud there isn't a 'select all' button when you go into all photos and videos
How To Access Icloud Macbook Pro, so this created a really annoying issue. so i just wanted to show you guys how you actually do this. just incase anyone was wondering so, the first step is to go to icloud.com then once you've loaded it's a similar sign in page that you get on ipads and iphones
just type in your icloud username and password that will be the e-mail address you registered and the password. now once you've logged in you can select photos. so as you can see from this, i'm running out of storage. we want to download everything from this and then once that has been done i can then clear out the icloud and use the nas as centralised storage for my friend. so we've selected "photos" and then from here if you do need to change anything you can click in the top left and select anything else from here i want to select "albums"and then "all photos"
now you can see that i've got 1703 photos and videos now when you click on select photos there is not a 'select all' option now, you can just select photos individually but this is really, really annoying. what you want to do if you wish to select everything is go down to the last image in the album and then hold shift ont he keyboard and left-click on the mouse this will select everything from the start to the end now at the bottom it tells me that i have 1703 photos
and in the top-left it shows us that we've selected everything then all you want to do is hit 'download' you'll get a second pop-up where you just want to press download again and this will download everything via individual files. ...and that's it. that's everything done. thanks for watching.
