How To Access Icloud Locked Iphone 6

i need to know how to fix ipad disabled withoutitunes. that does pose a challenge given that nearlyevery tech support solution beyond rebooting involves itunes. before you ask, yes, i've tried power cyclingit. make sure you actually turn it off, let itsit five minutes, then turn it back on. that

How To Access Icloud Locked Iphone 6, might fix the issue if the bug came aboutdue to an update. that didn't fix it. the only official way to unlock if you forgotthe password is to do a restore or factory reset.

resetting it causes me to lose my data. so connect it to your computer and back upthe data on the ipad with itunes on the computer. what else can i do from the computer? try signing into icloud and select to erasethe ipad if not a full restore. that won't help me if i forgot my password. depending on how new the ipad is, you couldshow up at the apple store with the device and receipt and beg them to reset the passwordor device so you can log into it. that's a long drive for me. let's say it says ipad says ipad disabledconnect to itunes. you can open itunes on

the computer without the ipad connected, connectthe ipad to the computer, and it will show up on the devices section in itunes. then what? you'll have the option to restore it froma backup or do a set up as a new ipad. the set up as new ipad will be the optionthat essentially brain wipes it and does the restore. in this sequence of events, it tries to backitself up. cancel and don't let it do that. you do that by hitting the x to stop it. after the backup is cancelled, it will syncup with the ipad, and you need to cancel that

too. so what do i let it do? the first stage of this restoration unlocksthe ipad, which is what you want. then you get a reactivated ipad and no data loss. assuming i hit the buttons fast enough. if you can get into icloud and find my iphoneinstalled, you can do a wipe remotely via the app. then i do a new set up and can update itunes,if it being behind one or two versions was the root last cause, as long as my passwordwas right.

if you fat fingered the password a coupletimes or had a dirty screen so it didn't recognize the entries right, you can just keep enteringa wrong password until it automatically resets i didn't set it to automatically wipe itselfafter ten failures, though i know it won't melt down like those messaging devices inspy movies. if you want to erase it and reset it via recoverymode, connect to a computer, open itunes, force restart it – you do that holding sleep wake and home atthe same time until you see the recovery screen. select to restore it, itunes will probablydownload, then do the set up.
