How Do You Make Buttermilk Quickly



its janmashtami today(25th august 2016) and whats better than white butter for kanha's prasad so for today's episode, i'm making homemade white butter with milk's cream, so lets get started! you'll need 2 cups of malai(cream) that forms on the top layer of milk after boiling it


How Do You Make Buttermilk Quickly, i've been storing all of that cream since 4 days and i now have 2 cups and i took it out of the fridge 3 hours ago to get it to room temperature 7-8 ice cubes/ 1 cup of ice cold water and any brand food processor with a plastic blade attachment


pour all of the malai(cream) into the food processor lock the lid and turn on the food processor keep it on for about 2-3 minutes open the lid up, and to give the cream a temperature attack we'll add our ice cubes/chilled water and again, turn on the food processor and within seconds you'll notice that the cream and the buttermilk have separated transfer it all to another bowl filter out the butter from the buttermilk


if you want, you can use a strainer or a cheese cloth i know it all looks messy but trust me, homemade fresh, delicious, pure white butter is worth all the messy work, its not a big deal (transfer the fat free buttermilk-which has a lot of nutrients into a glass and drink it!) happy janmashtami!
