let's open up a file to visualize go to add >> pseudocolor >> variable we only want the values within the brain so go to operators >> selection >> isovolume open up the attributes of isovolumeand change the minimum value to 1000

Annotation In Visio, now lets draw the plot to see how it looks now what we want is a slice of the brain so go to operators >> slicing >> slice double click on slice and change the normal to the z axis

change the origin to (0,0,-34) and draw the plot notice that the plot is in 2d because project to 2d is checked we could uncheck project to 2d to view the plot in 3d reset the view to the top view, so we can export an image go to controls >> annotation... click on no annotations and change the background color to pink now to export go to file >> set save options... set the filename and the directory make sure that the file type is png and set the resolution

once you click save, you have exported the plot with the slice!
